Compass Family Services is a program of the Kearney Center that connects families experiencing homelessness or economic hardship to community resources that will support their unique needs. Our primary offerings include family case management and baby items. Parents have access to information on employment, school, housing, food, clothing, transportation, health, childcare, car seat referrals, parenting education, and other miscellaneous assistance. We aresolely donation-based and, when available, distribute diapers, books, strollers, pack-n-plays, and other such items as they are requested from parents.
Some of our community partners include Whole Child Leon, Gadsden/Leon PACT Partnership, Big Bend Homeless Coalition, Capital Area Healthy Start Coalition, Brehon Family Services, ECHO/Bethany Family Services, Farm Share, Kids Pointe, Little Scholars Learning Center, Boystown, Good Samaritan Inn, Veteran Affairs, Leon County Schools FIT Program, Capital Area Community Action Agency Head Start, Kids Incorporated of the Big Bend, Early Learning Coalition of the Big Bend, Department of Children and Families, Creative Preschool, and 2-1-1 Big Bend/Help Me Grow.
