Host a Drive

Organizing a drive is a fun and effective way to support the Kearney Center. Every donation helps us provide necessities to those in need. Visit our wish list to see top needed items or check out our ongoing drive needs for hygiene supplies, moving out items, survival kit items, and kitchen items.

Maintaining personal hygiene can be a daily struggle for folks experiencing homelessness. Host a drive for the following items to help clients stay clean and healthy:

  • deodorant
  • adult underwear
  • hand sanitizer
  • sunscreen
  • wet wipes
  • shampoo
  • conditioner
  • bar soap
  • razors
  • shaving cream
  • adult pull up diapers
  • toothbrush & toothpaste
  • hairbrush or comb

We provide every resident with a Move-Out Kit upon their transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency. Host a drive for the following items to help clients get a fresh start in their new home:

  • new pillows
  • new sheets
  • new towels
  • cookware
  • flatware/utensils
  • kitchen/cooking utensils
  • new shower curtains and rings
  • dinnerware
  • cleaning supplies (bath scrub, clorox, lysol, wipes, etc.)
  • dish soap and laundry detergent
  • broom, mop, bucket

We deliver necessities to unsheltered individuals in our community through Kearney on the Go Outreach. Help supply survival kit items by hosting a drive for the following:

  • Raincoats
  • Sleeping bags
  • Bug spray
  • Sunscreen
  • Tents
  • Razors
  • Deodorant
  • Large black trash bags
  • Travel first aid kits
  • Snack bars

Clients receive three meals and a snack everyday thanks to support from the community. Help      stock our kitchen and feed our most vulnerable neighbors healthy and delicious meals by              hosting a drive for the following:

  • fresh vegetables
  • milk
  • snack items
  • paper plates
  • cups
  • napkins
  • seasonings
  • brown paper bags
