The Longest Table 2024

The Longest Table: Saturday December 21, 2024

Held on the longest day of the year, our Longest Table event is organized in order to introduce members of the community to one another. Through this forum, we allow our sponsors and our clients to mingle, listening to each other’s stories and gaining a new perspective. This year, we held a silent auction, had a dinner, and ended the night with a lantern release to remember those we have lost this past year. Thank you always to our sponsors who make events like this possible. The night began with a silent auction in our Enrichment Center. Equipped with a variety of items, the big ticket auction items included a Louis Vuitton bag, a grill and fire pit set from BlackStone, vacations to multiple destinations, and so much more! A variety of snacks and drinks were given out and our sponsors and general community members were able to meet and get to know one another.

Next, we headed to our dining area to hear from Sonya Wilson, the executive director for the center, about the past year and it’s success at the center and to dine with clients.

After our meal, we migrated outside to end the night with a memorial service for those lost this year. Whether staff or client for The Kearney Center, a lantern was released for each life lost.
